The Fulford Ladies Invitation Tennis League celebrated its 30th anniversary with an awards night at York Racecourse.
The championship trophies were presented to Helen Leach from division one champions York, Roseanna Dane of division two winners Pocklington, Debbie Vines of Castlegarth, who won division three, Sally Bell-Syer from Poppleton, the winners of division four, Diana Lang of division five winners Starbeck, and Jenny Wood, division six victors Pocklington.
The IT Sports champions, Joanne Middleton and Faye Garland, of Fulford, were presented with their trophies by Rosemary Littlefair. The Beryl Bean rose bowl for the over-55 champions was presented to Sue Sumner and Linda Molloy, of Dunnington.

Players of the season - Div 1: Louise Lister (York). Div 2: Karen Hornby and Liz Swallow (Copmanthorpe). Div 3: Angie Bell (Castlegarth). Div 4: Sue Hudson (Wistow). Div 5: Aimee Cross (Knaresborough). Div 6: Rachel Danby (Pocklington).
