FIREFIGHTERS tackled a car fire in York.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say they were called out at 8.33am yesterday to reports of a car on fire in Malton Road, Huntington.
A spokesman for the service said the car was completely burnt out as a result of the blaze.
He said: "Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire used a hose reel jet. The cause is believed to be an interior electrical fault."
