FIRE crews were called to clear a flooded basement apartment in the early hours of this morning.
The crew were called to the incident in Cornwall Road in Harrogate at around 4.45am today.
Upon arrival, it was found that the basement apartment was flooding due to the sump pump for the property tripping out.
The crew used a main pump to pump the water out of the property and re-established the sump pump.
They also gave advice to the occupier.
