Could somebody please explain why we have the unnecessary expense and time consuming exercise of regularly putting up a temporary flood barrier across the entrance to Tower Gardens? It has been built and taken down four times this winter.
Surely the simplest solution would be to put a flood gate across, as there are already walls there - alleviating the work to other areas liable to flooding? Perhaps the council could explain?
