THE number of Covid patients being treated at York and Scarborough hospitals has fallen to 71.
York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust revealed the latest figure today, which compares with a peak of 242 Covid inpatients at the height of the pandemic last month.
The trust also said ten Covid patients were in intensive care and it had discharged a total of 1,984 such patients since the start of the pandemic, or was no longer treating them as Covid.
