THE number of Covid patients being treated at York and Scarborough hospitals has fallen again.
York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust said yesterday it now had 67 Covid inpatients, down by four from Thursday's figure of 71 and by 175 on the peak of 242 last month.
It said 11 of them were in intensive care and added that a total of 1,992 Covid-19 patients had been discharged to their usual place of residence since the start of the pandemic, or were or no longer being treated as Covid-19.
