FIVE more residents at care homes in York have lost their lives to Covid-19.
Figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) show that the five further deaths at care homes in the York area means that there have been 34 so far in 2021.
There have been three more Covid deaths at care homes in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
The latest data is registered up until February 27.
The data was supplied to the ONS by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
