Following planning applications for the proposed felling of 28 trees and an unspecified number (group of) of hollys last week, plus three additional trees as reported in The Press at Skelton Hall, it is somewhat pleasing to record that this week, apart from various ‘crowning’ and other works, only four trees are to be the subject of the chop. Let us hope that this reduction may be continued.
