120 homes in Strensall were without power overnight because of a problem with an electricity cable
A power cut late last night has left about 120 properties in Strensall without electricity overnight and all day today.
Northern Powergrid engineers are working on the problem, but now say power may not be restored until 10.45am tomorrow morning.
An 'unexpected problem' with the electricity cable supplying the area has been blamed.
