A MAN was hit in the face in a fight in a residential street.
North Yorkshire Police say the assault assault happened in Didsbury Close in the Rawcliffe area of York at 5pm on Thursday, March 24 and involved two local men with one of them ending up being slapped in the face.
A police spokesman said: "We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
"Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2, and ask for PC Mallett.
