YORK'S Covid-19 weekly recorded rate has dropped back below 30 and just four more cases have been recorded in the area.
The latest data from Public Health England (PHE) shows that the city's rate has dropped by one to 29 cases per 100,000 population. This remains well below the UK national average, which stands at 53.7 cases per 100,000 population.
The PHE data shows that four more cases have been recorded in the City of York Council area, taking the total for the pandemic to 12,205.
In North Yorkshire, the weekly rate has dropped by four to 40.4 cases per 100,000 population. A further 27 cases have been recorded in the North Yorkshire County Council area, taking the total for the pandemic to 29,306.
In the East Riding of Yorkshire the rate has increased by two to 60.4 cases per 100,000 population, with a further 18 cases taking the area's total for the pandemic to 17,816.
Across the UK, a further 3,402 cases take the country's total for the pandemic to 4,353,668.
