POLICE are appealing for witnesses and information about an alleged assault which took place in Scarborough.
It happened in Hoxton Road at 10.50am on Sunday (April 4) and involved a man and a woman arguing in the road. After about 15 minutes the man drove off in a vehicle in a dangerous manner.
The man was located and arrested by police the same day, and has been released on bail pending further investigation.
North Yorkshire Police are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
In particular, the force are appealing for information from local residents and business owners who may have CCTV footage covering the Hoxton Road area.
