FOUR days have now passed since the last death related to Covid-19 was recorded at hospitals in the York Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The latest data from NHS England shows that the total number of deaths related to the virus in the York trust remains at 584.
The trust includes York Hospital and Scarborough.
There have been three more Covid deaths in the North East and Yorkshire region.
Across England, a further 12 people who have tested positive for coronavirus have died, taking the total number of Covid deaths in hospitals in the country to 86,434.
Patients were aged between 47 and 96 years old and had known underlying health conditions.
The dates of death range from March 29 to April 5.
Their families have been informed.
