A NEW cafe is all set to open in York city centre later this month.
Melk, who currently operate from a unit in Spark:York selling drinks and sweet treats, are expanding and opening a new cafe in Clifford Street.
Speaking on Instagram, Melk say they will continue to operate from Spark and plan to open in the old Daughter Cafe building on April 19.
Melk, which sells drinks, pastries, cakes, ice-creams, sundaes and milkshakes, using flavours from local supplier Yorvale, will be operating a takeaway service at first followed by the full cafe opening in due course.
Daughter Cafe announced in February that they would not be reopening on the corner site at 10, Clifford Street.
