WITH riverside views of Clifford's Tower and prices starting at £525,000, a new block of apartments has gone on the market in York city centre.
The Piccadilly Riverside Apartments, is a new development by Hilton Hotels owner Avantis Hotels that estate agents, Carter Jonas, say 'emulates the best of luxury, hotel-style living'.
The development consists of eight two and three-bed apartments, ranging in size from 862 sq ft to 1,758 sq ft in size priced from £525,000 to £1,250,000. They are set back from the new Hilton hotel being built in Piccadilly on the banks of the River Foss. They offer views of the River Foss and Clifford’s Tower.
Interior designers, OCCA Studio, planned the design around natural light with large panoramic windows a a focus on the uninterrupted views of Clifford’s Tower and the Eye of York that sit directly opposite.
Rachel Macpherson, head of York residential at Carter Jonas said: “It is exciting that this luxury living concept previously only seen in major cities such as London, is now being brought to York.
“So far, we have received a tremendous amount of interest in this development and have sold off-plan. Its intimate scale, comprising only eight apartments, as well as its affiliation to the exemplary Hilton brand gives buyers peace of mind and quality assurance. Furthermore, the Piccadilly Riverside Apartments stand out for their beautiful views and remarkable attention to detail throughout the design.”
The apartments are in a gated complex with landscaping and private covered parking.
Ravi Majithia, director of Avantis Hotels said: “We are delighted to launch the Piccadilly Riverside Apartments. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a piece of York real estate that not only offers a matchless ownership and living experience, but also a once in a lifetime vista.
“Nestled within the ancient city walls, this luxury living concept brings a little bit of bespoke hotel design to everyday living. Imagine a morning coffee on your spacious balcony, or perhaps a nightcap on a summer evening overlooking the river and Clifford’s Tower. After admiring the panoramic views, residents are always welcome to join us at the hotel, to enjoy a fresh coffee and make the public space an extension of their living room. Those who are lucky enough to live in the apartments will also have full access to our state-of-the-art gym.”
