POLICE are appealing for information about an assault by a group of youths on a girl in Harrogate.
The incident happened on Sunday (April 4) in the area of Woodfield Close, on the iron bridge behind Woodfield Primary School.
At around 5.50pm, a teenage girl was approached by a group of six or seven youths. One of the boys in the group pushed her over, resulting in bruising police said.
Officers said the group of youths are believed to be between the ages of 13 and 14 and were wearing dark hooded jackets and black joggers.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
