York residents will have a last chance to shop in Debenhams when it reopens its Monks Cross store on Monday - but for no more than a month.
The store will be part of the chain's final closing down sale, with items discounted by up to 70 per cent.
The 79 stores chosen for reopening will close permanently next month.
Among those not reopening is the chain's flagship store in Oxford Street, London.
The chain's administrators are hoping to raise money by selling off its stock as it disappears from the High Street.
Debenhams announced it would go into liquidation in December, and though the brand was bought by Boohoo during the current lockdown, it did not buy the shops.
