M&S has revealed a few changes for York shoppers as the retail giant prepares to reopen its stores on Monday.
There will be new ways to pay via the Sparks app and a new virtual bra-fitting service will be available too.
Toilets will be open too.
Rona Hulbert, M&S regional manager, said: “We’re excited to welcome more customers back into our stores from April 12 and look forward to continuing to serve our local community.
“With exciting new services like our contact-free bra fitting and the Scan & Shop service on our Sparks mobile app, we’re supporting customers however they choose to shop. Whether that’s browsing in store or using our click & collect service, our local team is ready to help.”
Every day for the next two weeks, one Sparks loyalty card customer, in every store, can win their whole basket or trolley of shopping for free.
Also, the Sparks mobile App allows customers to shop in store with their phones with the Scan & Shop with Sparks service - a quick way to pay without using the till.
This follows the Sparks Book & Shop option to help customers plan ahead and book a slot to shop at a time that suits them.
Bra fitting is back at M&S York and M&S Vangarde - allowing customers to choose between a contact-free bra fitting from M&S’s experts or the new option of accessing the service from home via a virtual appointment.
All customer toilets will also be back open, with strict cleaning protocols in place.
