A CONSERVATORY and the ground floor of a North Yorkshire property have been destroyed by a fire.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said the blaze in The Crescent, North Rigton, near Harrogate, was believed to have been caused by an electrical fault.
Two crews from Harrogate and one from Knaresborough attended the fire yesterday morning, using two hose reel jets to tackle the flames.
Station Manager Tony Walker tweeted that officers were investigating the cause to hopefully prevent further fires of that nature, adding that there were thankfully no injuries.
