ALL but three areas of York now have too few Covid cases to show up on the latest Public Health England map, as the overall rate has fallen yet again.

South Bank and Dringhouses is coloured dark green with a rate of 64.1 cases per 100,000 population after five cases in the seven days to April 4, and Fulford Road and Clementhorpe is coloured light green with a rate of 38 after five cases, as is Holgate West, with a rate of 42.7 after four cases.

All the other areas of the City of York Council district are shaded white because they had fewer than three cases in the seven days, with the data so low that it isn't published so as to protect individuals' identities.

The city's rolling rate has fallen slightly further to 11.4 per 100,000 population, and there have been an additional six cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total since the start of the pandemic up to 12,162.

The North Yorkshire County Council area has had seven extra cases, with its rate now standing at 26.2, while the East Riding of Yorkshire area has seen 12 extra cases, and has a rate of 36.9.
