A TEENAGER'S leg became impaled on a railing while they were climbing over it in a North Yorkshire village.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said the incident happened in Long Hedge Lane, Carlton, near Selby, on Monday afternoon.
Two crews from Selby attended and ambulance crews sedated the teenager while crews used a socket set and crew power to remove them from the fence.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance was called to the scene.
