FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a tumble dryer fire.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say they were in at about 20.20pm last night to a house in Harlow Moor Drive in Harrogate.
A spokesman for the service said: "A crew from Harrogate attended reports of smoke logging in the basement of a residential property.
"This was caused by lint in a tumble dryer falling onto the heating element.
"The occupants had isolated the dryer and opened windows to ventilate prior to the crew's arrival.
"Crews used a thermal imaging camera to check the dryer over before leaving."
