A BIKER has died after a crash in North Yorkshire.
Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a fatal collision on the A1246 between Fairburn and Brotherton.
North Yorkshire Police say the collision happened at about 2.40pm on Wednesday, April 14, and involved a grey estate car and a white, red and blue motorcycle.
A police spokesman said: "Both vehicles were travelling towards Brotherton at the time of the collision. Sadly, the rider was pronounced dead at the scene."
North Yorkshire Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision, or for anyone who has seen either vehicle immediately prior to the collision, to come forward and contact them.
In particular, any witnesses with dashcam or CCTV footage are asked to preserve it.
