FIREFIGHTERS were called in after someone accidentally reversed in to their own home.

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say they were called out at about 7.15pm last night to a house in Hunmanby near Filey.

A crew from Filey attended after reports of an incident where a person had accidentally reversed into their own property causing damage to front room of the house.

A service spokesman said: "The driver of the vehicle was not trapped in the vehicle and was unharmed.

"Crews used props to stabilise the front of the property and isolated services to the the property."
