GARDENERS and garden lovers will have the chance to learn how to make the perfect cup of tea, thanks to a York garden centre.
Dobbies is offering its members a virtual tea extravaganza on National Tea Day on Wednesday.
Katy Woollard of Whittard of Chelsea will explain the history of tea, how to brew two perfect cuppas - one with loose leaf tea and one with a tea-bag - and will explain how Earl Gray, English Breakfast and other tea blends are created.
She will also deal with issues such as the correct temperatures for a tea drink, whether it should be in a cup or a mug and whether the tea should be before the milk, or vice versa.
Dobbies next to the Poppleton Park & Ride is part of a national garden centre chain which has organised the event, which starts at 2.30pm.
It is only for members of the Dobbies Club and is free.
The chain is also hosting other virtual events for its members this Spring, following a series of Facebook Live sessions during 2020.
