One road will be closed for a fortnight and others for lesser periods as workmen carry out repairs and maintenance.

Woodlea Bank in Acomb will be closed completely at its upper end from the junction with Carr Lane for two weeks while gas engineers work on the gas network. The closure will run from midnight tonight until the end of April 30. A diversion route will be signposted.

Lockwood Street in The Groves will be closed between tomorrow and April 26 for resurfacing.

Devon Place off Green Dykes Lane east of the city centre will be closed for just under 24 hours from 8.30am tomorrow so that sewer works can be carried out.
