Here are some of the latest road closures in York:
WALMGATE, between the junction with St Denys Road and the junction with George Street, from 8am to 12.30 lunchtime, Sunday April 25, for sewer works
GRAPE LANE, a stretch of street 30 metres from the junction with Low Petergate, from one minute past midnight on Monday April 26 to midnight on April 29, for sewer works
KENT STREET, for 50 metres from the junction with cemetery Road, from one minute past midnight on Monday April 26 to midnight on April 30, for electrical works
HIGHLANDS AVENUE, footpath between Highlands Avenue and York Road, Strensall, from one minute past midnight on Monday May 3 and midnight on Friday May 28, for power grid works
WELLINGTON ROW, for 32 metres from the junction with Tanner’s Row, from Tuesday May 4 until August 3, for flood defence works
LOWER FRIARGATE, for 40 metres from the junction with Clifford Street, from 8am on Tuesday May 4 to 6pm on Thursday May 6, for broadband networks to be installed.
None of the above road/ path closures should prevent access to premises. Traffic signs/barriers will indicate the extent of the prohibitions/restrictions
