POLICE have launched an appeal and released CCTV footage following a burglary from a property in York.
At around 1.30pm on March 31, an individual entered a residential property in Hull Road, York and took a handbag and purse. The stolen bank cards were then used to make purchases at local shops.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said the force is asking members of the public to get in touch if they recognise the man pictured on CCTV as as they believe he may have information that could help the investigation.
