A TAXI was left hanging over the back yard of a basement flat after a crash earlier today (April 23).
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say they were called out at about 3.30pm to the junction of Park Terrace Junction and Fishburn Road in Whitby.
A spokesman for the service said: "A crew from Whitby and one from Lythe attended a road traffic collision involving a taxi.
"The car ended up leaving the road, went through some railings and was left hanging over the back yard of a basement flat.
"The driver and one passenger were out of the vehicle and one other passenger was assisted out by fire crews and paramedics."
