HERE are the latest traffic restrictions for York:
Highlands Avenue
From, May 3 to 28, 2021 to ensure works can be carried out safely.
Wellington Row
Between the junction with Tanner's Row from May 4 to August 3, 2021 for flood defence works.
Lower Friargate
Between May 4 and May 6, 2021 to allow for broadband network works to be carried out.
The restriction applies to the junction with Glifford Street.
Also, the ‘one way’ direction of traffic flow in King's Staith and Lower Friargate will be suspended during the period closure to allow two-way traffic flow and the ‘one way’ direction of travel in Cumberland Street is reversed to allow vehicles to travel in a north easterly direction when the closure is put into effect.
A19 Shipton Road
This Order will prohibit vehicles from (i) making a right hand turn from A19 Shipton Road (southbound) into the Rawcliffe Bar Park & Ride Access Road and (ii) making a left hand turn from Rawcliffe Bar Park & Ride Access Road into A19 Shipton Road and (iii) making a right hand turn from Rawcliffe Bar Park & Ride Access Road into A19 Shipton Road and (iv) making a left hand turn from A19 Shipton Road (northbound) into the Rawcliffe Bar Park & Ride Access Road, from May 10 to June 11, 2021 for traffic signal improvement works.
Additionally, (a) parking suspensions will be in place on both sides of Old Shipton Road between locations approximately 191 metres north of the junction with Howard Drive and 157metres south of the junction with Manor Lane during the works period and (b) the A19 Shipton Road (northbound) bus lane will be closed between the junction with the Rawcliffe Bar Park and Ride access road and a location approximately 87 metres south of said junction and (c) the footpath adjacent to the aforementioned bus lane will be closed and (d) footpaths on the east side of A19 Shipton Road between locations approximately 177 metres north of the junction with Howard Drive and 155metres south of the junction with Manor Lane will be closed and (e) the footpath connecting A19 Shipton Road and Old Shipton Road in front of No.s 244 - 246 Old Shipton Road will be closed. An alternative route for diverted vehicles and pedestrians will be available during the works period.
Patrick Pool
From May 14, 2021 to September 30, 2022 to allow for a pavement café.
