THERE are now just five Covid patients still being treated at York and Scarborough hospitals.
York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust said today it had a total of five confirmed and suspected Covid-19 inpatients Trust-wide.
This compares with 242 at the peak of the latest coronavirus wave on January 26.
None of the five is in intensive care.
The trust added that a total of 2,157 Covid patients had been discharged since the start of the pandemic last March, or were no longer being treated as Covid.
