ABOUT 100,000 York residents have now been vaccinated against Covid - with 42,000 having had both doses.
The milestone was revealed by City of York Council today in its latest Covid data tracker report.
It said that as of Wednesday, a total of 99,474 residents from across the authority's area had had the first dose of the vaccine.
It said this represented 47.2 per cent of the estimated total population of York and 57.2 per cent of the estimated adult population.
It said that a total of 42,170 residents had had both doses of the vaccine, which represented 20 per cent of the estimated total population of York and 24.2 per cent of the estimated adult population.
