PEOPLE heading to the coast over the bank holiday weekend are being urged to keep an eye out for a missing woman.
North Yorkshire Police appealed for anyone visiting the Filey, Reighton and Scarborough areas to stay alert for sightings of Sarah West, 46, of Scarborough, who was last seen at about 7.30am last Sunday on the A165 near Cayton Bay.
She is also believed to have been walking along the Cleveland Way path between Scarborough and Filey.
Inspector Graeme Kynman said:“With the bank holiday weekend ahead we know there will be lots of people out and about visiting the coast for leisure and exercise so we’re asking everyone to keep vigilant for Sarah and to contact police on 999 for an immediate sighting or 101 with any other information."
Sarah is 5ft5 tall, of a very slim build with dark blonde/brown hair and maybe wearing glasses. She is believed to be wearing jeans, a light coloured blouse top and brown flat boots and may be carrying a red bag.
