HERE are the latest temporary traffic restrictions for York:
A19 SHIPTON ROAD, YORK
Work starts from Monday, between 9am and 4.30pm, seven days a week while the council upgrades traffic lights at the junction at Shipton Road (A19) and Rawcliffe Bar Park&Ride.
Drivers have been warned to expect delays as diversions and temporary traffic lights will be installed while the upgrades take place.
The right turn into the Park&Ride from Shipton Road will be shut while works take place, as will the left turn out of the Park&Ride on to Shipton Road.
Diversion routes for cyclists and pedestrians will be signposted and bus services are not likely to be affected.
There will be parking restrictions in Old Shipton Road between June 7 and 11 to allow for work to take place to upgrade the cyclist and pedestrian links at the junction.
BLACK DIKE LANE, UPPER POPPLETON
From May 17 - 28 to allow fibre broadband works to take place.
BURTON STONE LANE, YORK
From May 17 -25 June for footpath resurfacing - no vehicles or waiting on Burton Stone Lane between its junctions with Clifton and Grosvenor Road.
TOBY COURT – YORK ROAD, YORK
No pedestrians or vehicles along the footpath connecting Toby Court and York Road during power grid works from May 17 to June 11.
TRAFALGAR STREET, YORK
From May 21-25 to allow for electricity grid works.
ROUGIER STREET, YORK
Overnight from 9pm on May 16 to 5am on May 17 to allow for paving works to be completed. An alternative route for diverted vehicles will be signed during the works period. Pedestrian and cyclist access will be maintained throughout.
