Fire crews were called to Clifton Ings at just before 4pm this afternoon after reports that a calf was trapped.
"On their arrival the calf was with its owner, who was reuniting it with its mother," a spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said. "No action was required by fire crews."
