A FLAGSHIP restaurant in North Yorkshire is throwing open its doors next week following a £600,000 refurbishment.
Work has been going on behind closed doors during the latest lockdown to transform Lucia Harrogate, an Italian restaurant and cocktail bar, which is the sister restaurant of Lucia York and Cut & Craft, York.
An exclusive launch celebration is being held on Monday evening for invited guests to show off the stylish new look in the three-storey venue in Ripon Road, opposite Harrogate International Centre.
It reopens to guests from Tuesday, bringing a taste of the Mediterranean to North Yorkshire wit dishes such as slow cooked beef shin and mushroom risotto to salmon filet and lobster bisque.
Owner Oscar Akgul said he was optimistic about the future, and expects a 'boom summer' with busy custom from staycationers.
