Four people are among those jailed recently at York Magistrates Court .
Ashley Paul Balmer, 35, of no fixed address, was jailed for six weeks. He admitted breaching a domestic violence protection order.
Gary Marrison, 62, of Water End, York, was jailed for 20 weeks. He admitted assaulting a police community support officer and assaulting another man on High Ousegate on May 9. He was ordered to pay a £128 statutory surcharge.
Jaimee Leigh Reilly, 21, of Barlby Road, Barlby, was jailed for 18 weeks. She admitted five offences of theft from shops in Selby between April 20 and May 5 and breaching a community order made on April 8 for four offences of shop theft and one of failure to surrender to bail. She was ordered to pay a £128 statutory surcharge.
Josh David Turner, 28, of North Drive, Sherburn-in-Elmet, was jailed for 18 weeks. He admitted harassment of a woman in Sherburn-in-Elmet between July 2020 and January 2021. He was made subject to a restraining order banning him from contacting the woman or going to her home indefinitely. He must also pay a £128 statutory surcharge.
