POPULAR Netflix show Bridgerton will get its own spin-off, a leading talent agency has confirmed.
The Regency era romance series captured the world's imaginations as it followed London's elite embark on match-making missions for their daughters.
Full of scandal, secrecy and drama, the period piece has already been commissioned for three more series and, now, it is set to return with the origin story of Queen Charlotte, played by Golda Rosheuvel.
The Netflix Original series - which has been described as ‘Downton Abbey meets Gossip Girl’ - was filmed at Castle Howard and Coneysthorpe village in Ryedale among others.
The estate is used in Bridgerton to stand in for Clyvedon Castle, the family seat of the Duke of Hastings.
Posting on Instagram, the BWH Agency said: "We couldn’t be more excited to say that #Bridgerton will be getting a spin-off series telling the origin story of Queen Charlotte (@goldarosheuvel) produced by @shondaland and @netflix! All hail the Queen! 👑"
Perhaps Castle Howard will make another appearance on our screens in the coming months.
