A STORE in York are taking part in a new campaign to help support the local community - and they want you to get involved.
The Dunelm store in Clifton Moor are participating in the 'Delivering Kindness' campaign, which has several parts to it.
The team have been collecting items for the food bank run by Haxby Food Share - as well as collecting towels and blankets for Band of Rescuers animal shelter.
The store have requested that people write cards of support - which are delivered to those isolating from Covid-19.
Steve Tyler, an employee at the store, said: "Although as a company the end date is within the next fortnight, we at the York store are looking to extend our involvement.
"We want to support the community by continuing with all the aspects of the campaign."
The store have also set up a 'Minutes of Kindness' Facebook group - which allows members to share how they have helped the local community, allowing the store to keep track.
