POLICE and the rescue boat were called to an incident involving the search for a missing man in York earlier today - who has now been found.
At 10am today (May 19) York Rescue Boat said they have been called in by North Yorkshire Police and North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service to an incident in York.
Danny Whitehead, 30, was reported missing from the Leeman Road area of the city by police this morning.
However, after a search from the emergency services, Danny was located safely.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "We're delighted to say that missing Danny who was reporting missing early this morning has been found safe in York.
"Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal."
