A MUCH-LOVED attraction has reopened its gates for the first time in over a year.
Yorkshire Lavender, based at Terrington remained closed last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
It was the first time in 27 years the popular local attraction has ever had to close in season.
Founded in 1994 by Nigel Goodwill after the death of his wife Lynne and now run by his daughter Emma, while his son, Sam runs the online side of the business ‘LavenderWorld’; Yorkshire Lavender has become a must-visit for tourists and locals alike.
The Goodwills have ensured customers can enjoy their day out whatever the weather, with the help of two enormous Tipis set in the 60-acre farm, overlooking the famous view over the Vale of York. The tipis offer customers outdoor covered seating in amongst the rows and rows of lavender.
