A CYCLIST has been seriously injured in a North Yorkshire village.
North Yorkshire Police are investigating how the cyclist, a man in his 50s, came to be injured in Whixley, between York and Harrogate at about 1.10pm on Wednesday May 12.
Officers are appealing for anyone who stopped to help at the scene or saw the cyclist riding along Station Road, or has any dash cam footage of the cyclist or the incident, to come forward.
A spokesperson said the man was found in the carriageway with serious injuries and was taken to hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.
