Nortthern Powergrid says 120 properties have been affected by a power cut
A POWER cut has hit 120 properties in a North Yorkshire village.
Northern Powergrid said it was aware of an unplanned power cut in YO8, the Thorpe Willoughby area near Selby.
"We've had to switch off the power for safety purposes whilst our engineers work on the cables and equipment that serves your area," it said.
"We appreciate your patience and understanding."
It estimated supplies would be restored by 9.30pm.
