NINE Covid cases have been confirmed in one area of York, while most of the city has virtually none.
Public Health England's latest map shows that nine coronavirus cases were confirmed in the Fulford Road and Clementhorpe area in the week to May 16, giving a rolling rate of 68.4 per 100,000 - well above the national average of 21.6.
The area is shaded a blue-green colour because it is above 50 per 100,000.
There were three cases confirmed in Osbaldwick in the same period, giving a rate of 35.7, so the area is shaded green.
Every other area of York had fewer than three cases, meaning the data is not shown, as as to protect individuals' identities, and they are shaded white.
