A BANK is to close its only branch in York city centre.
The Royal Bank of Scotland branch in Nessgate will shut on June 15.
The next nearest branch will then be in Leeds, but customers are being told they can instead use a NatWest branch in York city centre's Market Street, as RBS is owned by NatWest group.
The closure follows the shift of many customers to online banking in recent years.
