A CLASSIC rally including vintage cars, buses and motorbikes has brought together over 500 vehicles in York.
The event, organised by the York Historic Vehicle Group (YHVG), is being held on the Knavesmire at York Racecourse until 4pm today.
It is free to attend - and visitors will be able to observe over 500 different vehicles brought to the event by enthusiasts, including 10 buses and seven lorries.
The oldest car on show is a Bullnose Morris dating back as far as 1922.
David Walker, of YHVG, said: "The event is great fun for everyone. It's been busy so far and we've got every type of car, bus and motorbike imaginable on show."
There is a catering van on site offering food and drink - as well as a number of traders selling memorabilia and products and bric-a-brac stalls.
The event sadly had to be cancelled last year due to Covid-19 regulations - but has returned this year with "a better reception than expected", Mr Walker added.
