A VAN driver had their vehicle seized at the roadside.
North Yorkshire Police say they stopped a silver Ford Transit a few days ago at Flaxby on the A59 near the A1M.
Traffic Constable David Minto said: "TC Storey and I stopped this vehicle shown as ‘insurance not held’ on the Police National Computer and also untaxed.
"The driver couldn’t produce any documents or information to the contrary.
"The vehicle was seized and the driver reported."
