Big 7 Travel, a global travel site, has released this year’s version of its ‘The 50 Best Gastropubs In The UK’ list and Yorkshire gastropubs feature in the list.
The list sees Yorkshire feature five times, meaning some of its gastropubs are the best in the UK.
It’s the second year that the list has been compiled and shared and it's a combined score of reader’s suggestions throughout the year, online user reviews and Big 7 Travel’s editorial team.
A gastropub is defined as a hybrid pub, bar and restaurant serving alcoholic food and drinks.
The list was looking out for those establishments that went above and beyond just ordinary pub grub.
It would be the sort of place patrons would come to for a Sunday roast, house-cured meats an artisan ingredients.
