A HOTEL in York has launched a cozy new ski lodge for residents looking for the glamour of an Alpine escape.

The newly launched hotel suite, launched at Clementine's Hotel, is inspired by Nordic-design and features a private terrace with garden views, spa shower and mock log fire.

A spokesperson for Clementine's said: "With design touches including authentic wood-cladding, a traditional stag antler wall mount and matching mirror, comforting mock log fire, plush Scandi-style print throws and cushions, and a luxurious faux fur clad armchair, all joining together to create an Alpine heaven."

Other amenities include an en-suite bathroom with heated, tiled spa seat and large dual shower, Montpellier mini fridge stocked with refreshments, a large flat-screen TV, a coffee machine, air conditioning, complimentary toiletries and strong free wifi. The suite is also dog friendly.

The room is the latest to launch at the Clementine’s Townhouse Hotel, part of the HRH Group and looks to provide an escape in a place where Parisian chic meets Yorkshire Heritage.
