Fossway A' maintained their position at the top of the York John Smith's Bulmers Original Sunday Pool League with a hard fought victory at Castle Howard Ox A' .
The leaders came back from 3-2 down to record a 5-3 win, with the crucial last three frames won by Danny Bhanvra, Paul Kendall and captain Ian Jones.
Clifton A' and Crystal Palace A' played out a 4-4 draw. A Steve Scott double looked to have given Clifton the upper hand, but Dave Shepherd won the last frame for Palace to force a draw.
Burnholme moved into third place after a 7-1 win at bottom club Brigadier, whose Steve Laing saved the whitewash.
A double from Nigel Macdonald helped put Dringhouses A' 4-3 up at Fulford Arms, but Gary Bolton took the last frame to make the score 4-4. Jim Stewart won twice for Fulford.
Crystal Palace B' and Mitre B' were locked at 2-2 but Palace took the next three frames through Dave Richardson, Steve Oakland and Chris Alfieri to set up a 5-3 win.
Dringhouses B' fought back to draw 4-4 against Castle Howard Ox B'.
Captain Kev Boden won twice for Fossway B', as did Clifton B' Rich Langhorn and Aidy Doyle in another 4-4 share-all.
